VOLUNTEER WAIVER AND RELEASE
I understand that there are various risks associated with volunteer activities that I may engage in on behalf of Heart Heroes, Inc. (HH), a Nebraska nonprofit organization, and that I could sustain bodily injuries, property damage, or other economic loss during such volunteer activities. I hereby assume all of the risks of my engaging in volunteer activities on behalf of HH.

For myself and my executors, administrators, personal representative, heirs, and assigns, I hereby waive and release to the fullest extent permitted by Nebraska law any and all claims and causes of action against the Released Parties that I hereafter may have for bodily injury, property damage, or other economic loss which directly or indirectly arise out of, result from, or occur in connection with my volunteer activities on behalf of HH, whether such bodily injury, property damage, or other economic loss is caused by the negligence of HH or any of its agents, employees, or volunteers or by any other cause.

I agree not to sue any of the Released Parties for any of the claims or causes of action covered by this Waiver and Release; and I agree to indemnify the Released Parties against and to hold the Released Parties harmless from all costs, damages, or liabilities arising out of or based upon the claims and causes of action covered by this Waiver and Release.

I agree that Heart Heroes may reproduce, use, reuse and publish for commercial purposes, display, copyright, and distribute, photographs, recordings, images text, and/or captions of me, and other photographs in which I may appear, in connection with promotion, advertising or publicity of HH in any and all languages, and any and all media not known or hereinafter developed (collectively, the “media”).

I hereby release and discharge HH from any and all claims, demands, and liability in connection with the use of such photographs/recordings in connection with the promotion of HH, other commercial and private use, including but not limited to claims for libel, invasion of privacy, rights of publicity and/or copyright infringements. I understand that the copyright to the photographs/recordings resides with HH.

For all purposes of this Waiver and Release, "Released Parties" means HH and its directors, officers, employees, agents, volunteers, and any other representatives.
